Matthew Ryan Healy, age 31, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 13, 2017. 

Born in Saratoga Springs on February 1, 1986, the son of John V. Healy and Mary Frances Tallman Healy. 

He was a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School, class of 2004 and was currently attending Tompkins Cortland Community College. 

Matt was very devoted to his work, previously working at The Mexican Connection, Stadium, West Side Stadium, Needlewurks, Putnam Den and City Tavern. 

Matthew had a big heart, he loved to laugh and make others laugh.  He had a special gift of kindness that charmed all who met him and knew him.  He was the kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call son, grandson, nephew and friend.  He had a very kind heart and quick wit and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Matthew is survived by his parents, John V. and Mary Frances Healy of Saratoga Springs; brother, John R. Healy (Kelly Reynolds) of Niskayuna; uncle, Peter (Vicki) Healy of Victory Mills; aunt, Elizabeth Clary of Baltimore, Maryann (Brian) Wager of Saratoga Springs; several cousins, and a large number of friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal Papa and Nana Tallman; paternal grandpa Jack and Nana Peg Healy and best friend Adam Klingele. 

There will be a private family service at a later date.
