William James Todd

William James Todd, aged 76, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Saratoga Hospital, surrounded by his beloved family.

Born on November 23, 1947, in Saratoga Springs, William was the son of the late Kenneth Thomas Todd and Gloria M. Hurd.

William dedicated many years of his life as an Appliance Repair Tech for General Electric in the Schenectady area. He also served his country with pride in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Fond memories of his youth as a Boy Scout included summers spent camping in Maine, a tradition he continued with his own family. William was a devoted fan of the Giants and found solace in crafting model trains during the off-season, creating a special hobby room dedicated to his passion. He also cherished the tranquility of long drives to his favorite fishing spots.

William is survived by his loving wife, Carol King Todd; his daughters, Melissa Todd (Todd Landry) and Suzanne Carey (Andrew); his brother, Thomas Todd; sister, Jacqueline Todd; grandson, Ryan Todd and many dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Todd.
