William Hollner Obituary

William D. Hollner, age 69, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Saratoga Hospital, surrounded by the love of his devoted family.

Born on November 14, 1954, in Albany, NY, William was the cherished child of Paul and Ruth (Anamier) Hollner.

Throughout his life, William dedicated his professional career to Owens Corning in Delmar, where he served as a skilled Machine Operator.  He found immense joy in activities like bowling, enthusiastically attending baseball games and sporting events, and exploring new destinations through travel. Yet, his greatest source of happiness lay in the quality time he spent with his beloved family, particularly his grandchildren and cherished pets.

William leaves behind a loving legacy, survived by his devoted wife, Sherry, and his two sons, William Hollner Jr. (Amber) and Kevin Michael Hollner (Lisa). He will forever be remembered by his adoring grandchildren: Ugalee Michael Oates Jr., Desiree Nicole Oates, Louralleah Hollner, Leanna Hollner, Jersei Hollner, and Jenna Hollner. His great-grandchildren, Michael Oates III, Maddison Oates, and Archer Oates (Meghan Bannister), will continue to carry his spirit forward. He will also be deeply missed by numerous friends who were touched by his humble and warm-hearted nature.

William is reunited in eternal peace with his parents, his daughter, Mary Anne Hollner, his brother, Paul Hollner, Jr., and his grandson, William J. Oates.
