Wilfred J. Turcotte

Wilfred J. Turcotte, 78, passed away peacefully at home in Saratoga Springs, NY, on Monday, January 20, 2025.

Born on May 5, 1946, in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of the late Wilford L. and Margaret Turcotte.

Wilfred dedicated many years of service as a firefighter with the Saratoga Fire Department before his retirement. An avid outdoorsman, he found great joy in hunting and fishing, passions that brought him closer to nature and those he loved.

He is survived by his son, Wilfred James Bader; daughters, Holly Turcotte and Wendy Spear; stepdaughter, Stacy Briscoe; as well as many cherished grandchildren and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

Wilfred was predeceased by his beloved wife, Claudia Turcotte, and his daughter, Laura Holland.

In honoring Wilfred’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at ITAM, located at 247 Grand Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

A graveside service will take place in the spring.
