Waneta Chapman

Waneta Chapman, age 54, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Saratoga Hospital with her family by her side.

She was born on May 16, 1967 in Saratoga Springs, daughter of the late Gerald and Waneta Mabb of Saratoga Springs.

Waneta loved taking care of her family and loved her dog.  On her free time, she loved to solve jigsaw puzzles.

Waneta is survived by her longtime companion who she loved Mark Benson; brothers, William McCauliffe of Stillwater, Gerald Mabb, Henrey Mabb, Willard Mabb of Saratoga; aunt Elaine Norton of Galway and Uncle Norman Atherton of New Hampshire.

She is preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Mabb.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave, Saratoga Springs, New York. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm following the visitation at the funeral home.

At the family’s request the burial will be held at a later date.
