Virginia Styczynski, a beacon of compassion and love for animals peacefully passed away at the age of 75 on Monday, September 11, 2023, at her residence in Saratoga Springs, NY.
Throughout her remarkable life, Virginia was a steadfast supporter of animal rights, ensuring that the silent cries of animals never went unheard. Her tireless dedication to this cause showcased her amazing spirit and unwavering love for all animals. To many, she was not just an advocate but a guardian angel for the voiceless.
Outside of her love for animals, Virginia's gifted hands breathed life into countless crafts. Her artistry, often inspired by the animals she held dear, was a testament to her immense talent and her intimate connection to the world around her. Each piece she crafted told a story of her passion and dedication. Virginia's warm heart and gracious spirit will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Virginia is survived by her sisters, Aldonna “Donna” Perry (Richard), Anita Styczynski (Bill Moore); many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her gracious smile.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Raymond Styczynski, Daniel Styczynski, John “Jack” Styczynski, Sr.; niece, Jennifer Perry; nephew, John “Jack” Styczynski, Jr.; and sisters-in-law, Mary Anne Styczynski and Claire M. Styczynski.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.) Saratoga Springs, NY. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Memory Gardens 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205.
