Victor B. Bobzien, Jr., age 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Saratoga Hospital with his devoted wife, Carol, by his side.
Born on December 18, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Victor B. Bobzien, Sr. and Genevieve (Olges) Bobzien.
Victor spent many years working as a manager at Albany International Airport, where his dedication and leadership were well respected before finishing his career with Saratoga ARC, where he retired. His dedication and strong work ethic were evident in all that he did. Outside of work, he was an avid outdoorsman who found joy and peace in nature. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping, especially when surrounded by family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Bobzien; his son, James Bobzien and his wife; his sister, Doris Matick (Richard); and many nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law, and friends who will miss him dearly.
In addition to his parents, Victor was predeceased by his son, Donald Bobzien, and his sister, Patricia McLaughlin.
At the family’s request, there will be no calling hours or services at this time.
