Timothy Lawrence Obituary

Timothy A. Lawrence, aged 54, hailing from South Glens Falls, NY, embarked on his final journey on Friday, March 29, 2024, after valiantly battling severe progressive MS and Cancer.

Born on December 17, 1969, in Derby, KS, to Robert and Judy (Whaley) Lawrence, Timothy's journey began amidst love and warmth. He completed his education at South High School and pursued vocational training in the construction trades in 1989. Proficient in operating various large construction vehicles, he lent his skills to the NIBCO brass plant in SGF, where he served as a dedicated machinist for numerous years.

Timothy found solace and joy in the great outdoors, relishing moments spent hunting, camping, and fishing. However, his ultimate passion lay in traveling open roads on his motorcycle, with his most cherished journey being the trip to Boston to visit his cousin, followed by a memorable trip to Hampton Beach.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Judy (Whaley) Lawrence of Wilton, NY, his sister Cindy (Lawrence) Drew and her husband David Drew from western PA, their two daughters Brittany Drew from Atlanta and their daughter Shelby (Drew) Leasure her husband Josh Leasure from Western Pa. His sister Joy (Lawrence) Baker, her husband Randy Baker from Alabama, their two daughters Catherine Baker and Jordon Baker also from Alabama, his Aunt Blanche (Perrin) Lawrence, and Uncle Edward and wife BJ Whaley.  Also to include his close dear friend of many years Heidi M DeCota and his Aide Gale S. He also has many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his Grandparents Theodore and Blanche (Charbolis) Lawrence, and William and Martha (Carpenter-Tunstil) Whaley.

A celebration of Timothy's life will be held this summer, at the family's convenience, commemorating the enduring spirit of a man who touched the lives of many with his courage, kindness, and love.
