Terry L. Marcellus

Terry L. Marcellus age 67, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2022, at Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on June 20, 1954, in Saratoga Springs, NY the son of the late Rowland and Mildred (Shaff) Marcellus.

Terry was a Stable Hand for Skidmore College for 30 Years.  He enjoyed fishing and the continual support and strength of his family.

Terry is survived by his wife, Jackie Marcellus of 17 years; mother-in-law, Rose Eichler; step-sons, Jeffrey Barnes, Christopher Barnes, Nathaniel Barnes (Danielle); sisters, Rolanda Marcellus, Tina Marcellus, Tammy Marcellus (David Russell), Erin LaBarron (Ralph); brothers, Jay Marcellus (Donna), Thomas Marcellus (Sherrie Steele), Shawn Marcellus (Jim); sisters-in-law, Linda Bradley (Bill), Valerie Crawford (Earl Johnson), Rose Bushold (Chris); brother-in-law, William Eichler (Cheryl); several nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Isaiah Barnes (Maria), Jacob Barnes, Nicholas Barnes, Brooklyn Barnes, Carter Barnes, Jaxon Barnes and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rowland and Mildred Marcellus; brother, Earl Marcellus and Rhonda Marcellus. 

A funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY. Family and friends may call from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Terry can be made to Compassionate Funeral Care to help the family with the funeral cost.
