In Loving Memory of Susan Beyer

Susan Beyer, age 56, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Susan was born on October 10 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, to John Allen and Helen Locke (née Moran).

Susan was an art teacher at St. Mary's Academy. She loved the beach and cherished spending time with her family. Susan dedicated her life to nurturing creativity and kindness in others. As an art teacher, she encouraged countless students with her favorite saying, "There are no mistakes in art class." She believed that every person had unique gifts to share and approached life with compassion, patience, and grace.

Susan was a proud graduate of the University of Southern California and valued education deeply. One of her greatest hopes was to provide her children with the same opportunities that had enriched her own life.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bill; her children, Sophie, Ben, and Braden, who were the center of her world; her mother, Helen; and her siblings, Helen, Mary, Allen, and Anne. She was predeceased by her father, John Allen.

The family is grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Susan's legacy lives on in the countless students she inspired, the artwork she encouraged, and the love and strength she instilled in her family.
