Stephen Allen Martin

Stephen Allen Martin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday Nov. 15, 2023, at Wesley Nursing Home.

He was born on Dec. 3rd, 1953, in Glens Falls, The Son of Late Frederick Martin and Emily Martin. He Married his wife Virginia Martin in 1993.

Stephen loved reminiscing and telling stories every chance he had about his wife, who passed away in 2020. He loved going for long walks, especially to Stewart’s. He enjoyed spending time with his many Friends at Stone quest Apartments. He loved spending time with his Grandkids whom he loved unconditionally. He spent his Retirement volunteering and being a person who could make anyone feel comfortable around him. He was always trying to make the people around him smile.

He is survived by his son, Stephen, and wife Marlayna; grandchildren, Melody and Sheldon; brother, Gary and his wife Winnie; sister, Susan; uncle, David and wife Joan; nephews, Caleb, Jim, and Peter and his wife Kate; nieces, Kate and her husband Chris, and Beth and her husband Ben; several great-nieces and nephews.

Stephen was predeceased by his wife, Virginia Martin; father, Frederick Martin; mother, Emily Martin; uncle, Jack and his wife Viola.

A small service for the family will be held at a later date, at the families convivence.

The Family would like to thank Saratoga County Hospice, and his dear Friend Bob who was by Stephen’s side until the end.
