It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Bickelhaupt, who left us on August 22, 2023. Born on October 27, 1956, Stephen lived a fulfilling life, embodying a spirit of kindness, wisdom, and resilience that deeply touched all who knew him.
Stephen will be forever remembered as a kind, loving man and a great source of strength within the family. He was always ready to listen, advise, and lend a supportive hand, and his influence will continue to be felt by his loved ones.
He leaves behind a legacy of love in his cherished wife, Patricia Bickelhaupt, his life lessons, wisdom, and warmth are deeply engraved in her heart, and she is proud to carry his memory forward. Stephen’s love for his family was always at the forefront of his life, and we will forever hold dear the moments spent together. Stephen's absence will be deeply felt, but his indomitable spirit, his love for life, and his enduring love for his family will continue to inspire us. We mourn his loss, but at the same time, we celebrate his life and the wonderful memories he has left behind. Stephen Bickelhaupt made a significant impact during his time with us, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him.
Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Bickelhaupt; stepdaughters, Jennifer Austin (Kevin), Stacey Kepner; brother, Thomas Bickelhaupt; grandchildren, Aiden Kepner, Autumn Austin and many friends who will miss him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Peter and Robert Bickelhaupt.
At the family’s request there will be a graveside service in the spring of 2024. The time and date will be announced at a later date.
