Sharon was born in St. Louis, Missouri and lived in the Schenectady area, prior to settling in Saratoga County.

She retired from the NYS Department of State.  After retirement, she was a local organizer with move.on.org. Also, she advocated for the 99%, women's rights, civil rights, and helped with campaigns for progressive candidates in her region.  She was a strong voice for the "No Kings" movement.

A proud member of PETA, she defended animal rights and helped rescue animals in need.  Her bird feeders were always full, and the squirrels in her yard enjoyed the peanuts she supplied them.

A self labeled "Cat Lady", Sharon loved and cared for her cherished cats, who miss her deeply.

Her home was an eclectic space filled with treasures that brought her joy and comfort.

During the warm months, she lovingly tended to her beautiful garden and flower beds.  She also helped with those of her neighbors and veterinarian.

Sharon was predeceased by her parents, Patricia Browne, Robert Browne, her brother Russell Browne, and her daughter Logan Hardy.  She is survived by her brother Randall Browne and her five feline companions.

In her memory, donations can be made to any of her aforementioned causes.
