Sandra Songayllo

Sandra Songayllo, 79, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Glens Falls Hospital.

Born on August 10, 1946, in Ottawa, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Elizabeth Ross Raymond.

Sandra dedicated her life to caring for others, serving as a Registered Nurse for Clinton County for many years before her retirement. Even after retiring, her heart for service continued through volunteer work at the Gateway House of Peace, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and compassion. She also found joy in creative pursuits, including sewing and knitting, and she was known for her warm, gracious smile. Above all, Sandra cherished the time she spent with her family, who were the center of her life.

She is survived by her loving children, Brian Pribis (Danell), Barry Pribis (Denise), David Pribis (Dawn), and Pamela Cooper (Greg); her brothers, Alexander Raymond (Cathy) and Cedric Raymond; sister, Heather Raymond; grandchildren, Maranatha Lamb (Anthony), Tailor Dayton (Mark), Natania Hanna (Rene), Brian Jr., Ezra, Joanna; Joshua Pribis (Cailey), Cameron Pribis; Amelia Cooper, and Mark Cooper; as well as her great-grandchildren, Ronan, Skyler, Isabel, Titus, and Gabriel Lamb; Eli and Caspian, Sophia, Charlotte, and Gabriella Dayton; Xenia, Tatiana, and Marina Hanna. She will also be deeply missed by her many friends.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was predeceased by her sister, Helen Raymond.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
