Salvatore G. Lomonaco Jr.

Salvatore G. Lomonaco Jr. age 64, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Saratoga Hospital. 

He was born on February 22, 1958, in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Salvatore Lomonaco Sr. and Alice (Baressi) Lomonaco.

Sal was a self-employed mechanic and welder. He was passionate about music and enjoyed playing the bass. Sal fed his need for speed by riding motorcycles and was a gearhead always working on anything with an engine. He loved Italian food and he put garlic on everything he ate.

Sal is survived by his girlfriend, Wanda Dearborn; son, Salvatore G. Lomonaco III (Emily); daughter, Alice Wilson (Dave); their mother, Deborah Hempstead; grandchildren, Ava and Autumn Wilson; brother, John Lomonaco; sister, Lucy Lomonaco; niece, Stacey Fiacco (Jancangelo) and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave (Route 9/ Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, New York. Family and friends may call from 5:00pm – 7:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at New Sacred Heart Cemetery, 1713-1717 S Old Post Rd, Castleton-On-Hudson, NY 12033. 

In lieu of flowers donations in honor of Salvatore can be made to Compassionate Funeral Care to help with the funeral costs.
