Robyn Young Obituary

Robyn Judith Young went to be with the Lord peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on February 21, 2026.

She was born in Glens Falls, New York, on March 31, 1955, to Robert and Barbara Young, who both predeceased her.

Robyn graduated from Hudson Falls High School in 1973 and went on to attend SUNY Cobleskill, where she majored in Business Administration. She also continued her education by taking additional coursework at Skidmore College and SUNY Adirondack.

Robyn built a very successful 30-year career in sales. She began her career at WTEN in Albany and later worked for RH Donnelly, where she received the Distinguished Sales Award. One of her proudest achievements was earning a company trip to Hawaii, which she enjoyed with her son, Lemarr.

She was an avid bowler for many years and was a proud member of the 600 Club.

Above all else, Robyn's greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her son, Lemarr Young and his wife Christina, and her beloved grandson Lekan of Queensbury; her daughter, Lavasia Parsons, and her cherished grandchildren Rilee, Trinity, and Serenity Young, also of Queensbury.

In later years, Robyn devoted herself fully to raising her granddaughters, providing them with stability, guidance, and unwavering love. She stepped into that role with strength and grace, always putting their needs first and remaining actively involved in every part of their lives.

She is also survived by her sisters, June Young, Rhenita Quimby of Las Vegas, and Roxanne Young of Hudson Falls; and her brothers, Robert Young of Hartford and Ronald Young of Las Vegas; as well as several loving nieces and nephews: Cherise Quimby, Shannon Quimby, Angelica James, Cordelle Pratt, Heather Downey, Robert Thompson, and Bobby Young.

Robyn found immense joy in watching her grandchildren grow and pursue their passions. She loved cheering on Rilee and Trinity at cheerleading events, watching Rilee perform in musicals and sing in chorus, enjoyed ths sound of Trinity playing the violin at concerts and attending Serenity's school play performances. Her pride in them was evident in everything she did.
