Robert Wilson

Robert L. Wilson, 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Glens Falls Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Born on December 25, 1953, in Ticonderoga, NY, Robert was the son of the late James and Margaret (Hill) Wilson.

Robert had a lifelong career as a mechanic with Verizon, where he was known for his strong work ethic and skillful hands.

 Robert had a deep passion for cars and motorcycles. He loved riding his Harley and had a special place in his heart for his Corvette. He was a proud motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed the freedom of the open road and the camaraderie of fellow riders.  Above all, Robert treasured the time spent with his family.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Jody Wilson; his children, James Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Corrie Blair, Ashleigh Wilson, and Bobbi Jo Wilson; his brothers, Kenneth Wilson, Steven Wilson, William Stockwell (Barb), and Michael Stockwell (Toni); his sister, Laurie Bradway; sister-in-law, Jamie Marcantonio; and his beloved grandchildren: Alyssa Kelleher, Jazmyn Blair, Braedyn Blair, Ava Wilson, Mason Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Makenzie Wilson, another Mason Wilson, Jadelynn Lord, and James Wilson; his special niece Cindy Dodd.

Robert was predeceased by his parents; his son, Robert Joseph Wilson; his brother, James Wilson; sister-in-law, Linda Wilson; brother-in-law, Jon Dougher; and his faithful black Lab, Katie.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services at this time. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time of remembrance.
