Robert Trapp, age 62, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
He was born on August 23, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY son of the late John Trapp and Eileen Trapp.
Bob worked at Home of the Good Shepherd as the Maintenance Supervisor and loved the residents and the residents loved him as well as the staff he worked with.
Bob was an avid Yankee, Giant and Nascar fan enjoying them as much as possible. He also loved spending time with his family and friends blaring his music around the bonfire. In his younger days he could be found working on his Jeep during the week and racing on weekends. Some say he was an animal whisperer the way he connected to all his pets.
Bob is survived by his significant other, Dawn Staigar; brother, Jay Trapp; sister, Nancy Becker (Daniel); niece, Kerry Osborne (Brian); and his nephew Daniel Becker (Danyel).
He is preceded in death by his brother Stephen Trapp.
As Robert loved his pets, in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Roberts name to ASPCA; https://greatnonprofits.org/org/aspca-american-society-for-the-prevention-of-cruelty-to-animals.
