Robert Harrington, Jr.

Robert Harrington Jr., affectionately known as Bugsy to those who knew and loved him best!  age 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY.

Born on August 3, 1961, in Saratoga Springs, NY, he was the son of Robert Harrington Sr. (Red)  and the late Evelyn (Suttle) Harrington.

Robert was employed at the Hilton in Saratoga Springs and the Route 50 Diner in Ballston Spa. He enjoyed watching His NY Giants, NASCAR and many other sports, His favorite pass time was fishing,( Even though he  wasn't very good at it)

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Bennett Harrington; son, James Morrow; daughter, Bobbie Lee Harrington; Two step children, Brenda Senecal, (Chuck) John Bennett (Brandi); 10 grandkids, 6 great grandkids; father, Robert Harrington Sr.; brothers, Rodney Harrington (Jeanie) and Michael Harrington (Sherry); sisters, Nina Foley, Tina Beagle, and Evelyn Millington (Kevin); and many cherished nieces And nephews, Bugs had many friends, but he cherished the 57 yr friendship he had with  his best friend Jim Hall (Arlene) who Bugs considered his brother;

Robert was predeceased by his mother, Evelyn Harrington.

A funeral service will held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.  Family and friends may call from 1:00  p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
