Robert J. Byrnes, Jr., age 66 passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 at his home in Burnt Hills with his family by his side.
He was born on April 24, 1956 in Schenectady, NY, the son of the late Robert J. Byrnes, Sr. and Marie Mauro Byrnes.
Robert was an electrician for the Guyson Corporation for many years. Robert had a lifelong hobby as a craftsman in his woodworking. If you needed it fixed, tightened, or built he was the one to call on. He took great pride in every piece he built, especially his guitar. Robert had a great sense of humor; he loved to laugh and make others laugh.
Robert is survived by his wife, Ann Byrnes; stepdaughters, Kimberly Selcuk, Jennifer La Chance; brother, Jeff Byrnes (Regina); sister, Kathleen Byrnes; grandson, Jalal Taha; nieces, Maranda Brynes, Kaylan Zall; nephew, Samuel Livsey; great-nieces, Althea and Josephine Zall; great-nephew, Thompson Zall; his favorite cat, Little Buddy and many friends.
At the family’s request there will be no calling hours or service at this time.
