BALLSTON SPA. - Reverend Rebecca Brown passed away peacefully at Saratoga Hospital on October 21st following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Rebecca was surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Port Chester, New York, Rebecca was the daughter of the late Robert J. Borrelli and Lucille “Becky” Borrelli.
Rebecca held a Master’s Degree and was a dissertation shy of a Ph.D. in Psychology. She had a strong passion for education and was a lifelong learner. She was an advocate for the less fortunate, human and furry friends alike.
She is survived by her loving husband Glenn Brown, her adored daughter Rana Balesh, her two brothers Roger (Dawn) Borrelli and Joel (Patricia) Borrelli. She is also survived by her lifelong friend and sister-in-law Sandra Borrelli, as well as her niece Carla (Michael) Gleason and her nephews Matthew and Luke Borrelli.
She will be a loving angel to her grandson Gabriel who will make his debut in the coming weeks. She is also predeceased by her brother Robert “Bobby” Borrelli as well as her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Cremation will be done as that was Rebecca’s wish and a private celebration of life will be done at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in support of Pancreatic Cancer research.
