Philomena Hall

On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at the age of 84, Philomena Hall peacefully passed away at the Slate Valley Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. She was born on March 19, 1939, in Plattsburgh, NY, the beloved daughter of the late Lawrence Fuller and Mable Vevia Fuller.

Philomena dedicated her life to her family and her husband, making her mark as a devoted homemaker. Her passions included indulging in games of BINGO and enjoying the sport of bowling. However, her greatest source of joy came from spending cherished moments with her family. Her home was always a welcoming haven for anyone seeking the comfort and warmth of her hospitality.

She leaves behind a legacy cherished by her surviving sons, James Hall, Sr. (Arlene), Kyle Hall (Lisa), Christopher Hall (Kathy), and daughters, Dianne Monroe and Jamie Clute (Daniel). Philomena's memory is also carried forward by her brothers, Lawrence Fuller (Carol), David Fuller (Martha), Kenneth Fuller, and sister, Faye Ferro. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and friends who will deeply miss her.

Philomena was preceded in death by her loving husband, James C. Hall, and daughter, Clare Shattuck.

A funeral service in her honor will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Compassionate Funeral Care, located at 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon before the service at the funeral home.

Following the service, a graveside ceremony will take place at 1:00 pm at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, located at 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871.

The family invites anyone who would like to join them for a gathering to meet at the Knights of Columbus, located at 50 Pine Road, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866, following the graveside service.
