Philip Theodore Sisson, 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Saratoga Hospital, with his beloved family by his side.
Born on July 9, 1946, in Troy, NY, Philip was the cherished son of the late Shirley and Elizabeth Hammersley Sisson.
Philip dedicated many years as a respected chef at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, where he took great pride in preparing meals that nourished both students and staff. His love for cooking extended to his family, who cherished his culinary creations. Beyond the kitchen, Philip found solace in the outdoors, being an avid camper who deeply appreciated nature’s beauty. However, his greatest joy in life was the time he spent with his family.
Philip leaves behind his devoted wife, Patricia Sisson; his sons, Kyle Sisson and Paul Sisson (Lauren); his daughters, Diane Porter (Scott) and Jonelle Sisson (Nathaniel); his grandsons, Levi Sisson and Ezra Sisson; his granddaughter, Ayla Sisson; and numerous friends who will miss him dearly.
In accordance with Philip's wishes, a private service will be held at a later date.
