Paul J. Colbert

In Loving Memory of Paul J. Colbert, who peacefully passed away on May 21, 2024, surrounded by his beloved family. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, Paul was the cherished son of Ralph Colbert and Kathleen (Hugh) Colbert.

Paul is survived by his devoted children: Karen Colbert, Brenda Dawson, Linda Lapoint and her husband Rick, Kathy Ebert and her husband Bill, Donna Kessler and her husband Robert, and Ralph Colbert. He also leaves behind 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and his dear dog Ruby, whom he loved dearly.

Paul is preceded in death by his son, Paul Michael Colbert.  

During his service to his country in the Navy aboard the USS Valley Forge (CV-45), Paul met the love of his life, Mary Alisa Vaugh. They shared 68 beautiful years of marriage until her recent passing.

Paul built a successful business, P.J. Heating & Cooling, which he ran until his retirement. He enjoyed a life full of passion for golfing, bowling, visiting casinos, watching football, and taking vacations in Ocean City, Maryland, Gloucester, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.

Paul’s family and friends will forever cherish their memories of him. His love, humor, and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In accordance with Paul’s wishes, the family will hold a private service to honor his memory. They ask for your understanding and respect for their privacy during this time.

We love you and will miss you dearly, Paul. Rest in peace.
