Patrick Foster, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at St. Peter’s Hospital’s Hospice facility, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on March 17, 1938, in Milwaukee, WI, he was the son of the late Adrian and Kathleen Foster.
Patrick built a long and successful career as a salesman with Kearney and Trecker in Milwaukee, where his professionalism and dedication were deeply valued. Beyond his career, Patrick lived a full and vibrant life, finding joy in both adventure and simple pleasures. He especially loved sailing and boating on the Chesapeake Bay, where he found peace on the open water. He also had a keen appreciation for antique cars, an enduring love for dogs, and was a devoted WWII history enthusiast with a remarkable depth of knowledge.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy Kirsty (Charles); his brother, Daniel Foster (Lorraine); sister-in-law, Judy Foster; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who will carry his memory forward with love.
In addition to his parents, Patrick was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara (2010); his son, Timothy Foster (2009); his sister, Kathleen Foster; his brother, Michael Foster, and brother-in-law Thomas Elsner.
A private graveside service will be held at a future date.
