Nickolas S. Scribner

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Nickolas S. Scribner, 27, on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at his home in Ballston Spa, NY.

Born in Albany, NY, Nick was the cherished son of Cari D. Scribner (Dan Craven) and Stephan O. Scribner (Lynne). He was a deeply loved brother to Sasha O. Scribner (Alex Oconnor) and Ryan O. Scribner (Taylor Provost), and his close friend, John Romano who will always smile when they think about his sense of humor, antics and all the qualities that made Nick shine so brightly.

Nick worked as an Assistant Electrician for the Saratoga County Sewer District 1, where he not only excelled professionally but also built lasting friendships that enriched everyone’s life.

A celebration of Nick’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends can gather to honor his memory.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors for their touching tribute of flying the American flag at half-mast for one week at all county facilities. This flag will later be presented to the family in Nick’s honor.
