Michael P. Sullivan

Michael P. Sullivan, age 68, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025 with his family by his side.

He was born on January 20, 1957 in Ballston Spa, NY the son of Joseph Sullivan and Kathleen Kelley Sullivan.

Mike worked for many years as a dispatcher at Logistics One in the Saratoga Springs area.  He was an avid outdoorsman, he found deep joy and peace in water, the thrill of fishing, and the quiet beauty of boating on Sacandaga Lake.  Mike was never more at home than when out on the boat, a fishing rod in hand, surrounded by nature and the people they loved.  Sacandaga Lake wasn’t just a destination, it was a place where memories were made, and where Mike came alive with stories, laughter, and a sense of freedom that only the water could bring.  He was also an avid Yankees and Giants fan and enjoyed vacations with family and friends.  

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Donna Sullivan; daughter, Katie Sullivan; brother, Joseph Sullivan (Cherie); brother-in-law, Robert Pena (Judy); nieces and nephews, Devon Sullivan, Lisa Zacchio (Austin), Christopher Pena (Kate), Nicholas Pena (Anika), Timothy Pena (Stephanie), Stacy Gecewicz (Ian), Nicole Coxwell, Zach Mrusek (Sabre); great nieces and nephews, Ryland, Dylan, Wyatt, Kayden, Walker, Jack, Mila, Lane, Cody, Mason, Preston, Madison; In addition, Emma, Christan, and Charlotte Poirier (their parents Steph and Jeremy) who he thought of as his grandchildren and many friends who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sullivan and Kathleen Kelley.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.  Family and friends may call from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

A private graveside service will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
