Michael Anthony McDonough Sr.

Michael Anthony McDonough, Sr., age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at his home in Niskayuna. 

He was born on April 21, 1957 in Binghamton, NY, the son of late Joan McDonough.

Michael was a painter for the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany for many years.   He was an avid fan of the NY Giants football team and the NY Yankees baseball team in which he enjoyed cheering them on with his friends.  In Mike’s spare time he enjoyed watching movies, his favorite being “Good Fellow.”  

Michael is survived by his wife, Lisa McDonough; sons, Erick Adame, Michael McDonough, Jr., James McDonough; sisters, Patricia Dunda, Mary Depersis, Kathleen Liberati; and many friends who will miss him dearly.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871.
