Michael James Mastrangelo, 76, of Albany, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the St. Johnsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Born in Albany, NY, on July 14, 1947, Michael was the cherished son of the late Felix and Jennie (Coxon) Mastrangelo. He was a proud graduate of Albany High School, class of 1965.
A devout man, Michael found solace in reading his Bible every day, and his deep faith was evident to all who knew him. His passion and loyalty were also evident in his unwavering support for the New York Yankees. His son Michael gave him the greatest joy in life. These aspects of Michael's life brought him joy and provided countless memories for his loved ones.
Michael's legacy is not only in his accomplishments but also in the love, wisdom, and faith he shared with those fortunate enough to have known him.
Michael is survived by his son, Michael Mastrangelo; brothers, Clifford Mastrangelo, George Mastrangelo; sister, Jo-Anne Malatino; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Calling hours to remember and celebrate Michael's life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:30 pm at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871 following the calling hours at the funeral home.
