Michael R. Breault, 40, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025, after a heartful battle against cancer, passing peacefully with his family by his side.
Born on September 28, 1984, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Michael was a beloved son to Michael Breault and Lorraine (Sorli) Breault.
After Michael graduated from Hartford Central School, he went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering at Canton University.
In 2006 Michael started his career at Washington County in the Engineering Department with the Department of Public Works, leading up to be a Senior Engineer. Over the course of his 19-year career, he worked alongside dozens of colleagues, most who became close friends, and some who he considered to be like family.
Michael enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, traveling, sports, and all things outdoors. Whether it be all day fishing, hiking, camping, golf, or waking up before the sun to go hunting, hoping everyday was the day he’d get the buck before his father.
Sundays were always spent with family and friends enjoying each other’s company either on an outdoor adventure, pool side or just around the house bickering about the Broncos.
He touched the lives of many with his profound sense of humor, warmth, optimism, opinion, and outgoing nature. Michael was a generous friend and possessed an uncanny ability to connect to just about anyone everywhere he went. Rebellious at times, Michael was one of a kind. One who believed success comes from hard work and perseverance and strived every day to be a better version of himself.
Michael is survived by his mother, Lorraine Breault (Sorli) and father Michael Breault; his wife Cassandra (Allen); son Liam Breault and step-daughter Alyssa Fallen; sister Michelle (Dominick) Delgaudio; mother in-law Mary Ingham and father in-law Chris Ingham; brother in-law Brett (Ashley) Allen; sister in-law Felicia (Les) Marcotte; Danielle (Michael) Curley; and several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in joining the Lord by Maternal Grandfather Art Sorli and Paternal Grandparents Leonard and Emma Breault and Val Breault, cousin.
