Maureen Meader Taylor

Maureen Meader Taylor, born on August 26, 1963, in Saratoga Springs, New York, passed away peacefully at home on August 23, 2025, in Porter Corners, New York.

Maureen was a proud graduate of Saratoga Springs High School; class of 1981 and She was a lifelong Saratoga County resident.  She went on to dedicate two decades of her professional life to Grand Union, where she worked in the meat department. Her commitment and work ethic left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike.

Throughout her life, Maureen held deep bonds with her family and friends. She is lovingly remembered by her only son, Gerald (Jerry) Brundege; her sister, Diana Meader; and her cherished granddaughter, Kenadee Brundege and her grand puppies Cash and June. Maureen was preceded in death by her mother, Carole Meader; father, Gerald E. Meader; sisters Kristen Meader Weiss; and two previous husbands Timothy Brundege and James Taylor.

A devoted animal lover, Maureen found great joy and companionship in the dogs who she shared her life with over the years—Jazz, Buca, and Cooper. At the time of her passing, she was comforted by the presence of her beloved German shepherd, Nyx who was always by her side!
