Our beautiful daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother, Mary Anne Hollner, age 48, peacefully passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023, she departed this earth at her home in Watervliet in the presence of her family.
Mary Anne was born on July 18,1975 to William Hollner and Sherry White Hollner, in Albany, New York.
She graduated from Ballston Spa High School, class of 1993.
Mary Anne was a Nurse’s Aide for Eddy Village Green Nursing Home in Cohoes for many years.
As a mother, Mary Anne poured her heart and soul into raising her children with love and compassion. She instilled in them the values of hard work and kindness. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Her presence is irreplaceable in the lives of those who knew her best. Her remarkable personality filled every room she entered with warmth and kindness. Mary Anne had an infectious spirit that touched the lives of many.
She is survived by her companion, James E. Albert; son, Ugalee Michael Oates, Jr. (Megan); daughter, Desiree Nicole Oates (Ronald); stepson, Andrew Albert; parents, William and Sherry Hollner; brothers, William Hollner Jr., (Amber), Kevin Michael Hollner (Lisa); nieces, Louralleah, Leanna, Jersei, Jenna; grandchildren, Michael, Maddison, Archer; ex-husband, Ugalee Michael Oates, Sr. and many friends who will miss her beautiful smile.
She is preceded in death by her son, William J. Oates.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
A graveside service will be held at Albany Rural Cemetery, 3 Cemetery Ave, Albany, NY 12204 following the service at the funeral home.
