Martin Schober

Martin Schober, 61, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Saratoga Hospital with his family by his side.

Born on September 9, 1964, in Silver Creek, NY, he was the son of Bonnie Seeley and the late Carl Schober.

Martin was a devoted father and a man who found his greatest joy in the company of his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid basketball player in his younger years and never lost his passion for the game, enjoying every opportunity to watch and talk basketball.

He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Seeley; his stepmother, Margaret “Peggy” Schober; his children, Martin Schober Jr. (Amanda), James Schober, Anthony Dedonatis, Damien Dedonatis (Jennifer), and Ashley Schober; his brother, James Schober (Bridgitte); his sisters, Tammie Betti (Sean) and Kelly Kemper (George); and his cherished grandchildren, Leah Younes, Stephan Younes, Mila Schober, Ellie Schober, and Michael Dedonatis and his previous wife, Bella Schober. He is also remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Martin was predeceased by his father, Carl Schober.

Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
