Marjorie A. Porter Bull, 92, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026, at Saratoga Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on May 27, 1933, in Albany, New York, the daughter of the late Lawrence Sr. and Mariam Porter.
Marjorie lived a long, full, and meaningful life marked by devotion to her family, her work, and her faith.
Marjorie was a proud graduate of Saratoga Springs High School and later Adirondack Community College, earning her degree at the remarkable age of 50, a testament to her determination and lifelong love of learning. She served faithfully for many years as the church secretary at the Presbyterian New England Congregational Church, where she was known for her dedication and warm spirit. Following her graduation, she pursued a new chapter as a travel agent, eventually becoming the co-owner and manager of Classic Travel, where she helped others explore the world she so dearly loved.
A woman with a true sense of adventure, Marjorie shared a deep love of travel with her beloved husband, Carl. Together, they created countless memories camping and journeying across the country and beyond. In her later years, she found joy in simple pleasures, especially during her time at the Home of the Good Shepherd, where she enjoyed playing bingo, making new friends, and sharing laughter.
Above all, Marjorie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her warm personality, her quick wit, and her ability to bring joy to those around her.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 69 years, Carl E. Bull, Sr.; her son, Carl E. Bull, Jr.; and her brothers, William (Cathy) Porter and Lawrence (Judith) Porter, Jr.
Marjorie is survived by her loving children, Curt (Mary) Bull and Michelle (Kenneth) Beckley; her cherished grandchildren, Amber (Jeremie) Largeaud, Carlton (Rebecca) Bull, April Beckley, Derek Bull, and Cassandra Bull; and her adored great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Bull, Elliot Largeaud, and Heliose Largeaud, who were truly the light of her life.
Marjorie’s legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
