Marie C. Ebert

Marie C. Ebert (Marcy), 76, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Marcy was born on July 12, 1950, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Andrew and Helen (Parker) Bierling. A loving mother who took part in P.T.A. as her son’s went through school. She was also a dedicated employee of Golub Corporation, where she served as an Assistant General Merchandise Manager for more than 20 years before retiring.

Marcy found joy in many of life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed couponing, reading, music, cruises, all things Disney, days on the beach at the Jersey Shore and collecting snowmen of every shape and size. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her granddaughters and family. Gathering all for holiday crafts and meals.

Marcy is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Ebert; her sons, Andrew Carey (Suzanne), Scott Carey, Kevin Carey (Hillary Mound), William Carey (Dawn), David Ebert (Cara), and Jeffrey Ebert; her sisters, Andrea Randolph and Barbara Kloss (Gary); her granddaughters, Mckenzie Bradshaw (Jake), Olivia Ebert, Epiphany Carey, Lillah Carey, Catelynn Carey, and Molly Carey; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Helen Bierling, and her brother, William Bierling.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Calling hours will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

A graveside service will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, 150 West Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866
