Marian T. Burns

Marian T. Burns, age 85, passed away at Candler Hospital, Savannah, Georgia on Friday, January 8, 2021 after a courageous struggle with COVID-19 and Sepsis.   

She was born on May 19, 1935 in Bronx, NY, the daughter of the late Joseph Nazzarro and Theresa Uzzi Nazzarro.

Marian married the love of her life William M. Burns from Bronx, NY on May 18, 1957.  Shortly after their marriage they moved to Saddlebrook, NJ where they opened a Mechanical Contracting Company in which Marian worked as the Secretary.  While raising their family in the Catholic Faith, they purchased a home in Parsippany, NJ where they raised their children until they retired.  Following retirement, they moved to Brodheadsville, PA to be closer to their children. 

She is survived by her four children, William Burns and wife Karen and their six Children, John Burns and wife Luanne and their four children, Marian Yarbrough and her three children, Susan and husband Robert Hughes and their two children, sister, Joan and Walter Brown and their daughter Gina, 15 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Husband William M. Burns, Sister Virginia Nazzarro, nephew, Anthony Brown and her Mom and Dad.

There will be a Mass Service at St. Mary’s Church Catholic Church, 62 Warren St, Glens Falls, NY 12801 for immediate family at 11 am on Saturday, January 23, 2021. 

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at St. Peter's Cemetery, 150 West Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866,
