Madeline Giordano

Madeline Giordano, age 99, passed away on Tuesday January 11, 2022, at Riverside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

She was born on October 13, 1922, in Richmond Hill, NY to the late Louis and Rose (Kassheimer) Jacoby.

Madeline graduated High School and went on to sell cell phones at Cellular One at Walmart, located in Saratoga Springs.

Madeline was known for her sense of humor and ability to brighten up a room.  She enjoyed painting, word search puzzles, boating in Long Island and local theater where she preformed in a variety of plays. She was always willing to try new things.

Madeline loved her family: She is survived by her sons, Raymond and Anthony; grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, Michael and Mercedes; great-grandchildren, Tori and Giuliana; great-great grandchildren Parker, Indy, Madeline and friends.   

Madeline is preceded in death by her loving husband, Peter Giordano and daughter, Jan Ago.

Family and friends may call from 2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY.

A grave side service will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY 12871.

Due to the ongoing public health concerns of COVID-19 social distancing as well as wearing of a face mask is recommended.
