Lucy M. Daigler left this life on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, after a short illness, joining her beloved husband, Albert, who passed away in 2013. Lucy was born on December 25, 1936, in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of the late Victor and Kathryn (Adams) Roche.
Lucy graduated from Cleveland Hill High School in Buffalo. She and Albert moved their family to Saratoga Springs in 1969. She worked for most of her life as a homemaker and mother. In her later years she greatly enjoyed being a grandmother. She was an avid reader and gardener, loved a good card game, and never missed an episode of Jeopardy if she could help it. She was also deeply religious and attended mass regularly at St. Peter’s parish in Saratoga Springs.
Lucy is survived by her children, Sandra Daigler (Donald Windelspecht), Stephen Daigler (Francis Mauro), David Daigler (Cynthia), Kathleen Daigler (Laura Robinson), and Christopher Daigler (Renee). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tyler, Andrew, Nicholas, Michael and Julia Daigler, her sister Sheila Lueke, brothers Paul, Dennis and Terrance Roche, and many sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends. Lucy was pre-deceased by her brothers Bernard and Timothy Roche.
Lucy’s family would like to thank the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes for their compassionate care in her final days.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, January 29th, at The Church of Saint Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, New York.
The Rite of Committal will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY.
