Lorraine Reed

Lorraine “Lorrie” Reed (Grande), age 69, of Saratoga Springs, NY passed away on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024 at Wesley Health Care Center.

Lorrie was born on December 3rd, 1954, in Little Falls, New York to the late John Grande and Margaret Grande (Noonan).  She attended St. Mary’s Academy and resided in Hamilton County later moving to Rome, New York. She later moved to Stonequist Apartments in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Lorrie is the youngest of nine children; Richard Grande of Ilion, NY, David Grande of New Bedford, MA, Judith Warner of Bluffton, SC, Jack Grande of Saratoga Springs, NY, Eleanor Karpowich of Venice, FL, Marion DiCostanza of New City, NY, and Betty Staring of Canastota, NY.

She is predeceased in death by her sister Kathleen (Kay) Aversa of Frankfort, NY.

Lorrie enjoyed spending time with her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lorrie was devoted to her Maine Coon cat, Molly that was truly the light of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing computer games, knitting, crocheting, and of course shopping. She was deeply loved and will be sincerely missed by many.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY.  A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. and all are invited.
