Lisa Anne (Smith) Perilli

Lisa Anne (Smith) Perilli, 64, of Saratoga Springs, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026, after a long and courageous battle.

Lisa was born in Ilion, NY, to Nicholas and Betty Smith and grew up in the Binghamton area. After earning her MSW from the University at Albany, Lisa married her college sweetheart, Bob Perilli, and they moved to Saratoga Springs, where they made their home on Saratoga Lake for the past 40 years.

Lisa enjoyed a long and rewarding career as a social worker, helping and advocating for others in a variety of settings, including schools and hospitals throughout the Capital Region. Most recently, she served as a Hospice Social Worker with Community Hospice of Saratoga. It was there that Lisa truly found her calling. She had a special talent and deep commitment to helping and advocating for families during some of the most vulnerable and difficult times in their lives.

While Lisa’s career was an important part of her life, her greatest joy and priority was her family. She was an incredibly loving wife and mother who always put her three children and family first. Lisa was an active and devoted presence in her children’s lives, volunteering as both a Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader and providing unwavering guidance and support throughout their lives.

Lisa had a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and enjoyed nearly every kind of outdoor activity, including hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, golf, and swimming. She especially loved gardening, boating, and sailing on Saratoga Lake with her beloved husband Bob.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Robert Perilli; her children, Nicholas Perilli (Arden) of Glenville, NY; Christopher Perilli (Justine) of Clifton Park, NY; and Grace Perilli of Makawao, HI; and her sisters, Lynne Rosko (Keith) of Chenango Forks, NY, and Stephanie Drake (Joseph) of Walworth, NY.

She was predeceased by her parents, Nicholas and Betty Smith.

Calling hours will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Church, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

Lisa will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives she touched through her compassion, kindness, and unwavering dedication to others.
