Lawrence Fowler Obituary

Lawrence W. Fowler of Saratoga Springs, 66, passed away at home February 19th, 2025, after a lengthy illness. He suffered with a degenerative back condition for many years that gave him great pain and left him unable to work.

Born July 14th, 1958, in Hudson, MA, he was the first son of the late Carol M. & Rodney G. Fowler. Larry was an independent spirit who spent a handful of years traveling the countryside earning a living with his guitar playing and singing. As his life began to take a more formal turn, he settled in Cape Cod and worked for his grandfather, Fremont J Manchester while learning the plumbing trade. He would go on to spend his entire career working this trade. He and Kathleen eventually re-settled in Saratoga Springs, NY.

He was an extraordinarily strong man who would never settle and never give up. As Kathy’s illness progressed, he valiantly demonstrated just how strong he was by his steadfast care and love for her. He suffered more hardship than any husband should ever have to.

He is survived by his brothers, Robert Fowler & David Fowler, David’s Wife Lisa and David’s children, Angela Fowler, Andrea Fowler and Jennifer Stolzenberger. He is also survived by his cousins Edward Cannon of Bourne, Ma, Kyle Santheson and Debra Santheson.

He is proceeded in death by his loving wife and companion of 25 years, Kathleen R. Fowler
