Laurel DuChene Corby

Laurel DuChene Corby, 74, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on August 6, 1951, Laurel lived a life centered on faith, family, and helping others. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, family member, and friend whose kindness, generosity, and unwavering love touched countless lives.

Laurel shared more than 50 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Jacob Joseph Corby. Together, they built a family rooted in love, faith, and commitment.

She is survived by her husband, Jacob; her children, Andrew Corby and wife Deca, Beth Corby, and Sarah Hoyt and husband Robert; her grandchildren, Gregory Hoyt, Caytlyn Hoyt, Michael Pryszmant and wife Daynna, and Melissa Mattern; her great-grandchildren, Johnny, Kyleigh, Avery, Jackson, and MaKenzie; and many extended family members and friends.

While her family mourns her passing, they find comfort in knowing that Laurel is now with Jesus, free from pain and at peace.

A small private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Community Hospice of Saratoga County in Laurel's memory.
