Kelly Ann Hilscher

Kelly Ann Hilscher, 60, of Gansevoort, NY entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, July 4th, 2026.   Kelly was born in Ashland, PA and raised in Elysburg, PA by Janet Walters and the late Paul Walters.    

She married David Francis Hilscher on May 21st, 1994, and was a loving mother to 3 children: Nathaniel, Jamie and Nicole.   Kelly loved the bright orange sunsets of Texas, watching football, and travelling.    

She enjoyed going to Arlington Marching Band competitions to watch Nathaniel perform, attending Texas Longhorn football games and seeing her daughter Nicole on the Jumbotron, and relaxing at the end of the day as Jamie would provide massages.    

Kelly worked with children in several roles including daycare director, teaching aide and teaching assistant.   In the later years of her career Kelly touched children who absolutely needed help the most, those with behavioral or special needs. In addition, Kelly was a teacher and education coordinator in Christian education at Trinity Episcopal Church in Fishkill, NY for several years.    

Kelly is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, David; her beloved children, Nathaniel Hilscher, Jamie Hilscher, and Nicole Hilscher; her mother, Janet Walters; her sister, Karla Grozio and her husband, Ted, of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania; and her brother, Kevin Walters and his wife, Alexandria, of Feeding Hills, Massachusetts. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
