It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Keith B. Hedge, aged 60, on
Saturday, February 10, 2024, in Wilton. Keith was born on April 25, 1963, in Glens Falls, NY, to
John McGee and Patricia Ann (Yager) (McGee) (Hedge) Ritchie.
He proudly served in the Navy from 1981 to 1985. He later found fulfillment through his work in
construction and property management throughout the Saratoga Region. He started his career
with B & B Framing and Roofing and later spent 15 years with Aztech Technologies, Inc. Keith
enjoyed over 10 years working with Sonny Bonacio and later found a perfect fit working for Nate
Hover at NLH Property Management Services, LLC.
Growing up, Keith cherished many moments hunting and fishing with his grandfather and brother
and camping with his family. His life changed course when he met Susan (Passaretti) in 1991. His
proudest moment was becoming a father in 1992 when Susan and Keith welcomed their first son,
Tyler. He cherished being a father. He welcomed his first and only daughter, Sydney, in the fall of
1998. In the spring of 2003 at the age of 40, he welcomed another son, Garrett, who carries his
Irish heritage with his middle name of McGee. His love of sports and the outdoors was shared
throughout his life with his children. When he wasn’t cheering them on from the sidelines, you
could find him bowling a 300 at High Rock or trying to keep it on the fairway left-handed.
Keith will be sorely missed by so many. Everyone he connected with was touched by his kindness,
his sincere respect, and his quick wit. For a quiet man, he was larger than life.
Keith is lovingly remembered by his mother Patricia Ann Ritchie (Robert); wife Susan Hedge;
adored sons Tyler Hedge (Kelsey Johnson) and Garrett Hedge; beloved daughter Sydney Hedge;
supportive brothers Kent B. Hedge (Dorota) and JJ McGee (Sarah); his aunt Holly Lee Drew
(Don), his Uncle Nelson (Linda); Alek and Melodie Hedge who made him an Uncle; Brett Moore
(Sarah) and Kristina Palmier (Richard), along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Francis (Holly) Drew and Mildred (Millie)
Drew AKA Nana and Pop who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.
A funeral service honoring Keith's life will take place at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at
