Justyn Travers

Justyn Travers, age 97, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Born on December 18, 1926, in East Orange, NJ, Justyn was the daughter of the late Christopher and Gertrude (Barrett) Clarke.

She worked for many years as an administrative assistant at Ashland Oil before retiring. Justyn found joy in playing bridge, bowling, dining with her many friends, and traveling to many exciting locations around the world. Above all, her greatest happiness came from the time spent with her family including her 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Justyn is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Travers (Ronni) and Timothy Travers (Debra); her sister, Cheryl McCullen; grandchildren, Patrick Travers, Kelly Knox (Tyler), and Stefanie Bridges (Max); and many friends who will dearly miss her valued companionship.

She was predeceased by her parents and her beloved husband, Edward J. Travers, to whom she was married for 40 wonderful years.  Justyn resided for 50 years in Baldwinsville, NY before relocating to Coburg Village independent living in Rexford, Saratoga County.

At the family's request, there will be no calling hours or service at this time.
