Julie A. Winters

Julie A. Winters, age 68, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Saratoga Springs Hospital.

She was born on May 16, 1954 in Albany, NY, the daughter of the late Joseph and Adele Edwards.

Julie graduated from Colonie High School and attained her higher education at SUNY Albany. Julie had a long career at SUNY Albany as a system administrator. She enjoyed music by Elvis, cross-stitch and the casino, but her greatest passion was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Winters; sons, Eric Winters (Katie Logan) and Adam Winters; sisters Dolly Rodgers (Harold) and Sue Howe (Harry); sister-in-law, Dee Edwards; goddaughter Junie Faragon (Andy); many nephews, nieces and friends.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Edwards and sister, June Haas.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave, Saratoga Springs, New York. Family and friends may call 11:00 am – 1:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
