Judith M. Thibadeau

Judith M. Thibadeau, age 76, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at her home in Middle Grove, NY.

She was born on June 28, 1947 in Plattsburgh, NY, the daughter of the late Alfred Chartier and Viola Strock Chartier.

Judith held the role of Senior Clerk at NYS Taxation and Finance in the Albany area for many years before her retirement.

Judith was known for the love she had for her family, ensuring all never went without an “I love you” or a hug, never hesitating to share the love that dwelled within her generous heart with all.  She also took immense pleasure in spending many hours researching her family genealogy, as well as many quality moments with her family and cherished grandchildren. Additionally, her heart held a special place for her beloved canine companion, Snoopy. One of her favorite pastimes was engaging in lively games of BINGO, through which she forged numerous friendships.

Judith is survived by her sons, Mark Russman, Michael Russman (Jen), Gary Goddeau (JoAnn); sister, Viola Collins; thirteen grandchildren (Laura, Morgan, Brianna, Arianna, Ella, Kathy, Jenny, Mikala, Spencer, Key, Dre, Kirsten, & Brandon) and many extended family and friends who will miss her deeply.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 35 years, Earl "Bud" Thibadeau; brother Lawrence Chartier (Teresa) and her brother-in-law, Norman Collins.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.  Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
