Judith Marie “Judy” Bishop-Davis made her grand entrance into heaven on Monday, November 1, 2021 in Saratoga Springs, New York.
Judy was born on Thursday, March 2, 1939 in Buffalo, New York to her parents, Leonard and Genevieve Janik. Judy is survived by her husband, Kelvin J. Davis; her three sons, Kevin (Sharon), Scott (Melodie), and Todd (Mary); and her seven grandchildren, Levi, Jadon, Micah, Josiah, Malachi, Abigayl, and Bethany.
Judy was committed to a life of service in her church, community, and prisons across New York. She gave her life to Jesus in 1975 and raised her three boys “in” church every time the doors were open. She loved Gospel Music and television preachers.
Judy invested in everyone. She was passionate. She was opinionated. Judy was the original, ”Judy Tough.” If you went astray, she went “Judy Tough” on you. She did it because she saw the potential on the inside.
She was a fighter from the very beginning of her life as she battled and defeated polio. She fought and defeated cancer in 1995. She fought and defeated covid-19 in 2020. She fought and defeated a bone infection in 2021. She finished well and could boldly declare, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7).
