Juanita Greco, 86, passed away on March 22, 2026.
She was born on January 13, 1940, in Columbus, Mississippi, to Peter and Essie (Douglas) Taylor.
Juanita served as a Deaconess at Soul Saving Station and had been a faithful member since the 1980s. She was a devoted and anointed woman of God who dedicated her life to Jesus Christ, her church, her family, and her community. Her presence and love left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
She worked as a manager at White Castle in New York City before relocating to Saratoga Springs in 1981. From 1989 until her retirement in 1998, she served as a developmental therapy aide for New York State.
Juanita is survived by her brother, Jimmy Griffin (Brenda); her sisters, Sally Griffin White, Edna Russell, Jeanette Taylor, Betty Taylor, Annie B Taylor, Marry Legion Taylor, Bud Taylor, Wardell Taylor, Walter Taylor, Curtis Taylor, aunt, Mammie Taylor; uncle, David Taylor; niece and nephew Pamela Taylor Phillips, LJ Taylor; her grandsons, Jason Clow (Karissa Thomas), Roderick (Nick) Greco II, and Isaac Greco (Kayla Dunn); and her great-grandchildren, Malakai Greco, Jeremiah Greco, Ayverieh Clow, and Azariah Clow.
She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Vicki Wilkins; her spiritual daughter, Penny Cronan; her spiritual granddaughter, Kendra Sephas; and her spiritual great-grandsons, Kaiden Gordon and Skylar Sephas; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her church family who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Greco, and her son, Roderick Greco.
Juanita’s legacy of faith, strength, and love will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Soul Saving Station Church, 62 Henry Street, Saratoga Springs, NY. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m.
