John Christie

John Christie, age 65, passed away the evening of Friday July 29, 2022, at home with loved ones near.

He was born on July 18, 1957, in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Kenneth Sr. and Gloria (Sorensen) Christie.

He worked for many years as a Union Mason at Key Water Proofing and then many years as a Union Glazier at Architectural Glass and Metal.  John was also the owner and operator of JAC Restoration in Stillwater, NY. John enjoyed traveling and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. 

He is survived by his fiancé and loving partner of 10 years, Laurie Rocque; children, James Christie (Emily), Charlene Christie (Diana); grandchildren, Max and Iris. His siblings, James Christie (Laura), Jeanne Erardy (William) and Karen Borovich (Robert). Nieces and nephews, Sarah, Isaiah, Robert, Christie, Jessica. He is also survived by his extended family, Eric Rocque (Cat), Sara Savoca: grandchildren, Juliana, Imbrium and Ragnar and many friends.

John is predeceased in death by his brother, Kenneth O. Christie Jr.

A celebration of life will be held from 3:00 - 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, New York followed by a short service.
